1. Introduction
This cookie policy explains how FLOWXI Sarl (“Flowxi”, “we”, “our”) uses cookies and similar trackers on the website flowxi.com and the Flowxi mobile application (together, the “Platform”).
It supplements our privacy policy and informs you about the types of cookies used, their purposes, how to manage your preferences and your rights under Law No. 2017-20 of April 20, 2018 (Benin), the GDPR and any applicable regulations.
2. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit a website or use an application. Cookies temporarily store information about the user, their preferences or their device for various purposes: website operation, security, audience measurement, personalization, advertising, etc.
Other similar technologies (pixels, local storage, tags, SDKs, etc.) are also used and covered by this policy.
3. Which cookies do we use?
Flowxi uses several types of cookies:
- Strictly necessary cookies : essential to the operation and security of the website/app (authentication, session management, language, anti-fraud security, account access, shopping cart, etc.). Without them, some features may be unavailable.
- Audience measurement and analytics cookies : help us analyze traffic, use and performance of the Platform (pages visited, time spent, interactions, errors, etc.). Examples include Google Analytics, Matomo and Firebase Analytics.
- Personalization cookies : remember your choices (language, display preferences, account configuration, theme, etc.) to improve your user experience.
- Advertising and marketing cookies : used, where applicable, to display personalized advertisements or limit their frequency, measure their effectiveness and adapt our offers to your interests.
- Social media cookies : facilitate content sharing through social buttons (Facebook, WhatsApp, X/Twitter, etc.) or quick access to our social pages.
Some cookies are set by Flowxi (“first-party” cookies); others are set by third parties (“third-party” cookies: analytics tools, technical providers, social networks, etc.).
4. Consent and cookie management
On your first visit to the Platform, a cookie banner provides information and allows you to manage your preferences:
- Strictly necessary cookies : set without consent because they are essential to the operation of the website/app.
- Other cookies (analytics, personalization, marketing, etc.): set only with your express consent through the banner or cookie management settings.
- You may change or withdraw your consent at any time through “Cookie management” in the footer or your browser settings.
Refusing certain cookies may limit some features without preventing access to the basic service.
5. How to manage or disable cookies

6. Cookie retention periods
Cookies are retained for a maximum of 13 months from the time they are set, then deleted or renewed if you consent again.
7. Data recipients and transfers outside WAEMU/EEC
Information collected through cookies is intended for Flowxi, its technical providers and, where applicable, third-party partners (analytics, advertising, social networks). Processing may take place outside Benin/WAEMU/EEC. In that case, Flowxi governs transfers through standard contractual clauses, appropriate safeguards or APDP authorizations.
8. Your rights concerning data collected through cookies

9. Changes to the cookie policy
Flowxi may amend this policy to reflect changes in cookies or legislation. Any significant change will be announced on the website/app or by email. The last update date appears at the top of the page.
